PPL refused to reduce the cost and are still acting like domestic terrorists. We changed companies to a cheaper company. PPL is nother but an organized crime family and shuld be fully investigated for their crimes.

I received my electric bill from PPL for the month of Usage from Dec 19 - Jan 18, 2023. The total was $643.66.
This amount is unreasonable and insane. We do not use exterior illumination and only a dehumidifier (set a low setting) and computer is left on to charge overnight. We contacted PPL and they told us this bill is an estimated bill. So, no representative has actually looked at our meter and made a record of actual usage.
PPL stated they do not send reps to check meters and the data is sent electronically. We still have the rest of January and all of February and March to get through. There is no way I can pay these bills if PPL continues to charge for electric at the rate, they are charging us now. This to me is corruption and just plain robbery and theft.
It is also domestic TERRORISM to expect customers to pay their rates. This bill is unfair and absolutely ridiculously inflated.
I sent a complaint to my representative on his website. Everyone should protest PPL publicaly and contact their representative if they experienced a similiar outrageous bill.

Same happened to us. I made a payment but owed a small balance from previous invoice.
Our bills have been extremely high because it took two months for PPL to begin our suppliers lower fixed rate. We paid as much as we could. Suddenly we get an email alerting us our electric was to be shut off due to non payment of the past due balance. Mind you in the past 2 months we made 3 payments to PPL totaling close to $1,500 but that wasn’t sufficient.
So we put the balance they wanted on a credit card to prevent shut off. Dealing with them is like dealing with loan sharks.
The company was never like this before. Don’t understand what went wrong.
